Our collection of silver is made in Venice by the venerable jeweler, Nardi, whose flagship store has been a cornerstone of Piazza San Marco since 1920. Steeped in tradition, each piece is handmade by craftsmen who have used the same techniques for hundreds of years. We are currently adding pieces to our two lines, Moretto and Laguna, which depict enduring emblems of Venice. Each piece is stamped “White Webb per Nardi.”

The Moretto collection is inspired by Nardi’s iconic jewels. The place-card holders depict the famous Moor of Venice while a elegant salt cellar is classic in form. Both can be ordered in silver or vermeer, and can be set with precious or semi-precious stones.

The lion head and paw feet on the candelabra recall the Lion of Venice. Each candelabrum weighs nearly seven pounds of solid sterling and is topped by a Moretto. Special requests such as gilding or other colored stones are possible since every piece is made by hand. A portion of all sales proceeds is donated to Save Venice, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the precious art and architecture of Venice, Italy.

The glimmering lagoons and sea life of Venice inspired our design for the Laguna collection. The salt cellar is shaped like a shell while the place card holder is in the form of a seahorse. These can be gilded or set with stones at special request.

Shell-shaped feet support the candelabra, while the finial is capped with a sea horse atop a watery, coral-covered platform in hand-cast sterling. These sculptural pieces reflect the spirit and artistry of true, multi-generational Venetian artisans. A portion of all sales proceeds is donated to Save Venice, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the precious art and architecture of Venice, Italy.
